Gardaland is the most popular amusement park in Italy; It has the longest history and it is the most important in Europe. In 2005, the prestigious American magazine Forbes placed Gardaland in fifth place among the best amusement parks in the world! It is situated on the south-east bank of Lake Garda; the amusement park is based on themes that recall, by means of an accurate, detailed scenographic reconstruction, history and geography-related kingdoms which are both real and imaginary. The great variety of attractions and shows is able to fulfil the needs of an extremely wide range of people, from early childhood through adolescence to the elderly, from groups of teenagers to families.
